Kip Marlow is a “Recovering Entrepreneur.” At 28 years of age, he started his own company, Marlow Surgical Technologies. It was a surgical instrument company specializing in minimally invasive surgery of the abdominal cavity, specifically in gynecology and general surgery. Many of Marlow’s products were proprietary, with the company holding eight patents. It marketed its products throughout the United States, England, and Continental Europe. It was sold in 1997.
