Kip Marlow

Book Reviews

For anyone who has entrepreneurial blood running through their veins – This book is for you.

For anyone who is a bit of a rebel who wants to improve and change things for the good – This book is for you.

If you’ve ever wondered how businesses get started and succeed – You guessed it!

The word Rebel as it applies to this book: Is a person who is innovative and dreams of making positive changes that betters others’ lives, community, products, and services. This might involve creative destruction, a term used where traditional procedures, standards, products, or services are disrupted by more current and/or innovative ones.

Kip Marlow’s passion is and has always been to inspire, coach, and encourage innovators to take the risk. Knowing that often risk will be rewarded.

Mr. Marlow is no slouch for sure. Just for beginners, he was the Founder of Marlow Surgical Instruments, he hosted the Entrepreneur Club Radio® talk show where he interviewed successful business leaders across the USA, ran multiple Entrepreneurs Club of America groups, helped begin and was president of LakeStart, Founding partner of MyBoard®, And much more.

“Stories from the Trenches” includes thirty stories’ where each chapter represents an individual’s start-up journey.. Many of these efforts have their highs and lows. But not everything goes smoothly, in fact, you will learn that failure is a necessary part of becoming successful.

I’m certain there is at least one of these success stories that will inspire you and perhaps serve as a guide in directing you toward your goals.

Kip’s writing style is easy to read and free-flowing with scattered humor. This makes it makes it a fun read.

I’ve never met anyone more encouraging and upbeat whilst enduring “Against the Odds” storms of life.

This book is filled with nuggets of inspiration, lessons learned, and thought-provoking life quotes and attitudes that are delightfully positive.

Kip doesn’t have to write this book for anything other reason other than helping others. It’s not about making money, rather it’s about his passion to replicate success with integrity, honesty, and decency.

You will find that he teaches you without you even knowing it. That’s a great teacher!

You might want to keep a notebook next to you while you read. Because it will inspire you to think of your own passions and inquisitiveness into how you might move forward in your own endeavors.

I think this book ought to be included in curriculums of business courses, especially where entrepreneurial classes are taught.

In the world of entrepreneurs there is almost always what is known as an “aha” moment, where one suddenly has an eye-opening epiphany, a revelation of sorts. This is where the excitement begins for starting a new product or service. I hope the readers of this book find their passion to begin their new adventure.

I also hope this book will encourage many folks to consider taking that scary but rewarding plunge into becoming an Entrepreneurial “Rebel with a Cause”.

You don’t want to look back one day and regret NOT pursuing your passion.

I found this book to be truly remarkable and uplifting. I hope you will to!

I recently had the pleasure of reading your book, and I must say, it left quite an impression on me. I wanted to take a moment to share my thoughts and provide you with some feedback.

First and foremost, I want to commend you on the innovative approach you’ve taken with this book. Instead of presenting a traditional business perspective on entrepreneurship, you’ve delved deep into the personal stories of a diverse range of entrepreneurs. This refreshing approach not only provides valuable insights into the entrepreneurial journey but also adds a layer of authenticity and relatability that is often missing in similar literature.

One of the key strengths of your book is its focus on the human aspect of entrepreneurship. By featuring interviews with entrepreneurs from various backgrounds, experiences, and stages of their journey, you’ve captured the essence of what it truly means to be an entrepreneur. From the highs of success to the lows of failure, each story is a testament to the resilience, determination, and passion that drive individuals to pursue their dreams against all odds.

I was particularly impressed by the diversity of voices represented in the book. From Type AS to ADDs, PhDs to high school dropouts, you’ve showcased the wide spectrum of personalities and experiences that contribute to the entrepreneurial landscape. This inclusive approach not only makes the book more engaging but also underscores the universal nature of the entrepreneurial spirit.

Another aspect of your book that stood out to me was its accessibility. Despite the complexity of the subject matter, you’ve managed to distill the essence of each entrepreneur’s story into concise and engaging narratives. This makes the book not only informative but also highly readable, appealing to both seasoned entrepreneurs and aspiring business owners alike.

Furthermore, I appreciate the personal touch you’ve added to the book through your own experiences as a “Recovering Entrepreneur.” It provides valuable context and insight into your journey, serving as a guiding light for readers embarking on their own entrepreneurial paths.

In conclusion, “Entrepreneurial Stories: From Struggle to Success” is a captivating and inspiring read that offers invaluable lessons and insights for anyone interested in entrepreneurship. Your dedication to highlighting the untold stories of entrepreneurs is commendable, and I have no doubt that your book will serve as a source of inspiration for countless individuals looking to chart their own path in the world of business.

Thank you for sharing your wisdom and experiences with the world. I thoroughly enjoyed reading your book and look forward to seeing the impact it will undoubtedly have on aspiring entrepreneurs everywhere.
